Also, in the same thought, What is so wrong with Obama, is it the fact he is black, or is it the fact he is a democrat"? Personally, I feel that McCain is better for the job because of his "proven" leadership in the military and years of service in the senate. Face it, Obama has had absolutely no leadership experience. I, for one, do not want Obama's inexperience in foreign affairs nor his INEXPERIENCE to lead our nation's military in times of crisis.

Also, I might add that when the democrats took control of congress a couple of years ago, they said that $1.99 was too much for gas, unemployment was too high, and inflation was too high. Now, two years later, gas is at 4 dollars a gallon, inflation is higher, joblessness is at an all time high and the stock market is on a roller coaster ride, the likes it hasn't seen since the crash of 1929 </div></div>
Look it up, Bush said gas was too high when he took office and he had both houses. Both parties play to the small special intrest groups. Saw a story about Obama's SS plan, said it lacked something? That isn't a issue for prez or Bush would be hanging by the rafters. There some differences in the two groups, but not as much as most would like to think. Bush just is one of the worst and the American taxpayer has paid the price,- gas, Iraq and the national debt are three that come to mind right off.

I don't seee how it won't be worse with either of the two gunning for it now.....

Neither has the credentials to say it will be better...

Just because you went to war, doesn't mean you are all set to run a country...

And just because you've pulled a couple years in DC, and are a minority, gathering minority votes, doesn't mean you are equiped for the job either....

Nope, this is the worst "democratic" controlled congress in our history. Face it. Funding social security is going to be a hot topic no matter who is president. Yes both parties play small special interest groups, of which, Obama has made no bones about playing them as of late. Who is to say that his campaign contributions aren't funded by PACs, yeah they are small contributions from the internet, but who is giving all these people the money to contribute?

As far as Obama's foreign policy goes, are we to expect him to change his policies at every whim or threat of terrorism like Clinton, or even Carter did? Yeah Bush is a "knucklehead" but he has stood firmly on his foreign policy issues.

This, getting worse, is exactly what I think. Only positive thing might be one of them getting us out of Iraq.

"WASHINGTON - The next president will inherit a record budget deficit of $482 billion, according to a new Bush administration estimate.

A Bush administration official said the deficit was being driven to an all-time high by the sagging economy and the stimulus payments being made to 130 million households in an effort to keep the country from falling into a deep recession. A $482 billion deficit approaching billion would easily surpass the record deficit of $413 billion set in 2004"

    Re: OK people...

Social Security talk is BS from either party anyway...They have known it was going broke for about 15 years, and no president from either party has done a thing about it, you know why???
Cause in order to be a president, you must first be worth a few billion, so they aren't concerned....

Bingo. The guy that advised Bush on how to mix the plan worked for 4 admins, I believe. He wrote a book on the subject and his plan might have been the best option. He jumped ship and quit when Bush failed to act in the time window his plan called for.

Yeah ,like nuclear power for India? Like Bush and Rummy? You wear your color glasses and I'll wear mine. And the congress has been in line for 2 years and had to fight W Dumass on every issue.
